Design and assemble your very own 5-inch fused glass bowl! Participants will use ½” strips of many fun glass colors and types—transparent, solid, textured, and iridescent—the possibilities are endless! There’s no cutting required; anyone is qualified. Glass artist Heidi Reichenbach Finley gives just the right amount of friendly guidance and support for beginners and advanced alike.
Fused glass is different from blown glass—you won’t be near the heat. Your creation will later be expertly fired twice in the college kiln room to a glossy finish.
These make great gifts, and you may decide to make more than one for a smaller additional fee. Participants need no prior experience in glass or art of any kind to be successful. Guaranteed!
There is no supply list for students. Completed bowls will be ready for pick-up at the college within a week. Shipping is available.
Additional information for students: Eye protection is available in the Glassroom, though participants won’t be cutting or breaking glass intentionally. The instructor will provide safety guidelines and support for proper handling of glass. Please dress for work and wear closed-toe shoes.

Intended for adults age 18 and up. Children 12-17 may register and participate under the close supervision of a registered adult participant.
