French Conversation and Culture is a lively five-week course for beginners, but also good as a repeat for anyone who has already taken the class.  The class is  based around integrating and learning the French language and enjoying the culture of France.

If you hope to  travel to a French speaking country sometime soon, this class will be a fun way to practice conversational French and have an armchair experience to the French way of life.  There is a followup Conversational French II class scheduled in November.

During this course, participants will find themselves immersed in five themes:

  • Week One: General introductions/Family/basic knowledge sur la vie en France
  • Week Two: Cafe Life (food/drink/ordering)
  • Week Three: Traveling to and in France (airport/trains/metro/bus)
  • Week Four: Southern France (Bordeaux, Nice)
  • Week Five: Pronoun sequences for verb conjugations & Paris!

Refunds are unavailable for cancellations made within 48 hours of the class

Susan Baker-Smith is an instructor who has been differentiating the learning of French for all ages for over 30 years, and has completed expansive travel in France (and many other countries throughout the world) with students and adults alike.
