For the past 12 years Keely Frye has been a community outreach educator and advocate for survivors of crime at the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Previously she was a victim witness coordinator for Charlevoix County prosecutor’s office and a foster care specialist. She will review the realities of human trafficking, domestic violence and sexual assault in our world today. She will also recount the terrible persecution of indigenous people that went on for a century to “kill the Indian to save the man.”

Cancellations are non-refundable within 48 hours of this event.
