Tanya Matthews, president emerita and chairman of the board of TMG Construction Corporation of Purcellville, Virginia, and a Harbor Springs summer resident, is a female leader in a man’s world. From laborer to company owner over five decades, Tanya has built a company that is an innovative, leading design-builder and general contractor. She has overseen multi-million dollar agreements with agencies including the US Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, The World Bank, USACE-Baltimore District, US Department of the Navy, Boeing, National Park Service, and the Federal Aviation Administration. She will discuss what it takes to be a servant leader and a positive role model for the next generation of young professionals.
