Welcome to the exciting world of Young Entrepreneurs! This engaging and hands-on camp is designed to spark the entrepreneurial spirit in the students. Through a series of fun and creative activities, students will embark on a journey to explore the basics of entrepreneurship, creativity, teamwork, and problem solving. Gear up for an interactive learning experience where young minds will unleash their creativity, work on critical thinking skills. and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset.
Instructor: Georgia Abbott
Georgia A. Abbott, MBA is the president & principal consultant of Abbott & Associates Consulting, LLC. While at Northwood University, she was the Executive Director of the Alden B. Dow Center for Creativity & Enterprise, launching a student business incubator, pitch competitions and a Learning About Business, free-enterprise camp for high school students on Northwood’s campus. As an entrepreneur herself, Abbott founded The Children’s School of Music, LLC, an early-childhood music school and after 15 years, sold the venture to the Midland Center for the Arts. As a full time consultant now, Abbott specializes in business development, new product commercialization and second stage business growth.
