Jr. Sleuth's Crime Lab

Welcome to the Jr. Sleuth’s Crime Lab! In this workshop, our young detectives will embark on an exciting journey to learn the art of solving crimes. Through a series of engaging activities, they will develop their problem-solving skills and learn how to analyze a crime scene, collect evidence, and conduct tests to crack the case. Throughout the class, they will be introduced to the scientific method and a range of crime analysis techniques. From sketching crime scenes to collecting evidence and mastering fingerprinting skills, our Jr. Sleuths will be fully immersed in the world of forensic science. Get ready to uncover the secrets of crime-solving and become a master detective!


Instructor: Macy Doster


Macy grew up in Midland and earned a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources Management/Biology from Grand Valley State University. She has lived in Petoskey for 7 years, where she enjoys gardening, skiing, and rock hunting. Macy also loves spending time with her two cats.
