Page to Stage: Shakespeare’s Royalty, Lovers and Fools
Shakespeare’s plays were written to be performed. In this six-week class we will act up and act out in Shakespeare’s language. Open to all experience levels and abilities. You need not be a Shakespearean scholar or a Tony award winning actor to join us!
Students will discover tricks and techniques to open and deepen their understanding and appreciation of Shakespeare’s humorous, dastardly and poignant characters and their stories.
Themes such as power, revenge, love, jealousy, ambition and betrayal will be addressed in our look at select scenes from both tragedies and comedies.
This class is for age levels 18 years and up
Refunds are unavailable for cancellations made within 48 hours of the class
