As a vehicle for exploring creativity, solving problems, and enhancing personal growth, Tarot is extremely flexible. From a single “card of the day” to simple three-card spreads that help us identify the roots and implications of issues we face, to more elaborate spreads that offer the chance to go deeper, the way in which we lay cards out has much to offer our interpretations.
Please join us for an evening focused on Tarot spreads. We will explore structured and unstructured spreads, including examples of both. Spreads covered include the Celtic Cross (and variations), Wheel of the Year, Sliding Doors, and several others. We will also cover some helpful tips to keep in mind if you want to create your own spreads. The workshop is experiential, and we will be doing sample readings in class with these spreads. For this reason, basic familiarity with Tarot card meanings is very helpful though not required. All are welcome!
NOTE: You will need access to a Tarot deck for this workshop. Please feel free to bring a deck you have; if you need to acquire one, Inspired Living (Boyne City) and Poetess and Stranger (Petoskey) have a variety of great options.
Cancellations are non-refundable within 48 hours of this event.
