This Tarot class runs Tuesday evenings.

Have you been curious to explore Tarot but aren’t sure where to start? Or tried Tarot and found the number and variety of cards a bit off-putting? Designed for folks newer to card reading, please join us for a series of five interactive, applied workshops on the fundamentals of Tarot interpretation. No prior familiarity with Tarot is needed; all you need are a deck and desire to see how the cards can help you explore self-discovery, creativity, and personal growth. Topics explored include thematic interpretations of the Major and Minor Arcana; working with standard and variant images; storytelling fundamentals; and practical considerations. The workshops are experiential, with plenty of activities to help you start using Tarot as an interpretive tool. While the workshops cover basic interpretive principles, comfort comes with practice. For this, optional resources and activities are also offered to help as you independently practice and refine your skills.  Each student will receive a binder of detailed information pertaining to areas/topics covered in the class.

Cancellations are non-refundable within 48 hours of this event.

NOTE: You will need access to a Tarot deck for these workshops. Please feel free to bring a deck you have; if you need to acquire one, the Poetess and Stranger in Petoskey and Inspired Living in Boyne City both have a variety of great options.
