Observing the natural world after dark can be a truly magical experience, as many nocturnal creatures become more active and exhibit fascinating behaviors under the cover of darkness. To fully appreciate and explore this nighttime world, join Nocturnal Excursions, as they take a walking tour on the Bear River trail using night vision goggles. Enjoy a side of Petoskey you may never see with the naked eye.
The walking tour will start at 9:00pm at the Mineral Well picnic shelter on Lake St. across from Petoskey City Hall/Fire Dept. Each participant will be given binocular night vision headgear. The tour will last approximately 1 hour.
In case of rain, Sept. 21st has been set aside as a secondary plan.
