Emmet County’s Medical Care Facility—Bay Bluffs—is an essential safety net for seniors, especially as they near the end of life. Despite strong caregiver-to-resident ratios, workforce capacity challenges have necessitated a reduction in the resident population. Lisa Ashley, Bay Bluffs' administrator, will discuss the new partnership with North Central Michigan College, aimed at training future workers for Bay Bluffs and the broader healthcare community.
