India is a culturally rich, very diverse country. This presentation will be a peek into various peculiar aspects of the country like – Food, Culture, Languages, etc., and a brief introduction to diversity in India including fun, interactive activities.

Poorva KaleI was born and raised in Pune, India until destiny had its own plans for me. I got married and came to Minneapolis, MN approximately 8 years ago. Before coming to the United States, I completed my education in India and then, I did my Masters from Oakland University. My husband and I have moved around quite a bit in the pursuit of education and jobs! Our family (both of our parents) still live in Pune, India and we love to visit them almost every other year. We enjoy living in Petoskey, MI with our pets and hope to explore Northern Michigan this summer!
