Learn how to grow, care for, and harvest the most beautiful purple plant with Lavender Hill Farm! During this workshop, participants will take home their very own plant, a fresh U-Cut bunch of blooms, a “Growing and Using Lavender Guide”, and step-by-step instructions on how to grow and harvest happy and healthy lavender.
Start out with a guided golf cart tour of the farm, and then head straight to the greenhouse to learn about how to select different varieties, build healthy soil, establish plants, and learn to prune the lavender in your home garden!
After your greenhouse lesson, immerse yourself in our fields of purple peak bloom. Learn to harvest for bouquets or distillation with our Ag staff and cut your very own beautiful bunch to take home. Ages 12+. This is a rain or shine event.
