What is the Lifelong Learning Club?North Central Michigan College Corporate and Community Education Department launched the Lifelong Learning Club in September of 2020. Due to Covid-19, most of our programs were offered online. We provided online classes on a variety of topics including history, gardening, finance and birding. To expand our offerings, we partnered with the University of Utah. With all of their programs being online, we were able to offer a many different thought-evoking classes from a staff of high-quality instructors. Our Lifelong Learning group logged in from all over the country and now we have over 6,000 members. The University of Utah moved back to mostly in-person classes, so we searched for a new partner. We are thrilled to now be working with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Aquinas College to provide additional programming. Our classes now include a mix of online and in-person classes.
